I don't understand how other people are able to use this software without issues. I'm using a Windows 10 laptop with good specs, everything runs smooth as butter. I can't deal with this software if I can't even use keyboard shortcuts. I can't find ANYTHING about my problem online and I am desperate. Yes, keyboard focus or whatever it's called, the AZ button is active in the edit screen. I have also tried using different keyboards. My keyboard is NOT broken, everything works just fine outside of Pro Tools. I have contacted their support team, and they have been less than helpful, telling me my keyboard must be broken. This wouldnt be too bad if this would happen on occasion, but this happens mere minutes after starting Pro Tools. To enable them again, all I can do is completely restart the whole application. I've been having this very annoying problem, that keyboard shortcuts involving multiple keys (so ctrl + c for copy, ctrl + z for undo, all that sort of stuff) randomly stop working all together while using Pro Tools.
